"No, I'm saying I'm here if you need me, William. Can Pete Wentz behave?" Michael kept an eye on the injured bassist as if he expected him to pop up and start wrecking havoc any moment.

"Pete Wentz is not liable if he misbehaves," Pete said with a slight smirk. He was finding this conversation to be abnormally funny.

William's face turned to red. "Who gives a shit if you haven't? He's threatening me!" I could live with that if that meant I could get away from you, asshole. But you can't play with my friends' reputation. He glared at Pete. "Gabe told me not to get near you again. You'll be just fine on your own."

Pete looked around at the two men around him. He held his breath as William answered, but then let it out as he heard the answer. He didn't want to be left alone like this in a jungle.

"What kind of revenge?" Michael scooted a little closer to William protectively. He wasn't sure if he could keep William safe from Gabe, Pete, and himself at the same time.

"He might cheat on me with the first guy he sees and then rub it in my face. I'd be lucky if he doesn't leave right after." He gulped, unable to stop thinking about it. "Would you do that? I mean, last time you were in a relationship, if the same thing had happened...?" He realized he didn't know much about Michael's past.
