Tom woke with a jolt, allowing himself a few minutes to come to and take in his surroundings. His hand went immeadiately to the gun in his pocket when he realised he was next to someone, but then remembered. He didn't have a gun. He had Michael now. Marlee cooed at him, patting his chest gently. She looked confused as to where the hair had gone. He rubbed his eyes and sat up, bringing her close again. What now?

As soon as Tom was out of sight, the smirk dropped and he allowed tears to blur his vision. I'm nothing more than a cheap whore... nothing! He whispered tenderly, sitting down beside his lover and making the baby up a bottle.

William didn't make any effort to be quiet. He assumed he was better off not wandering around like he was stalking somebody, otherwise they might appreciate his presence even less.
