Michael opened an extra bag that Tom hadn't recognized, blushing at the abundance of underwear on top. He closed it quickly so Tom wouldn't see the lacy thongs and turned his full attention to the boy.

Tom placed the journal reverendly to one side. He'd read that later. He pulled out one of Bill's shirts and held it up, making a face.

Michael blinked a few times. Did that really belong to his brother?

Tom laughed at the look on his face and folded the shirt. "Sie kennen offensichtlich nicht meinen Bruder." He chattered, smile on his face. He rummaged around the case again and pulled out a leather choker.

Michael smiled slightly, realizing that Tom and his brother must be very different.

Tom and William are different too. The thought came unbidden. He wondered how they were.

Tom squeaked happily as he pulled out a teddy bear. "Jurgen!" He laughed, sitting it on his lap. "Ich habe gedacht, dass Bill von ihm befreit worden war!" He played with the bear's ear.

Michael leaned his chin on his hand and watched, the boy's happiness cheering him up.

Tom pulled out an assortment of tightfitting clothes, followed by several leather items. He folded them all and put them on the ground, before picking up a large, leather bound book.

Michael couldn't really see Tom wearing any of the clothes he pulled out of the case. He wondered what Bill looked like.

Tom opened the book and laughed. "Fotoalbum!" He cried, smoothing down the pages.

Michael smiled brightly, recognizing the words. It must have been a miracle that it survived. It was excellent luggage.

"Das ist Bill." He pointed to a dark haired feminine looking boy. "Und das ist Georg." A boy in a Ramones shirt. "Mich, ich ist dort." Michael recognised the smiling blonde. "Und Gustav." A boy with short hair, who looked rather... bored.

Michael pointed to each person and repeated their names, memorizing the faces in case he came across them.

Tom nodded, smiling more. "Löwen!" He turned the page and showed Michael the pictures.

Michael looked at all of them, wishing this boy and his friends had never gotten on the plane.

Tom pointed to the lion cub in his arms. "Löwen?" He said, raising an eyebrow.

Oh. "Lion." Michael looked at the cub, wondering about the circumstances Tom got to pick one up under.

"Lion." Tom repeated obediently. "Es hat mein Haar gemocht!" He giggled.

Michael chuckled a little even though he didn't really understand and moved closer so the album would be easier to see.

"Uhh..." Tom really wanted the other man to understand. "Was ist dies?" He grabbed his hair and showed it to Michael.

"Hair." Tom bit his lip. "Lion..." He mimed scratching at something. "Uhh... Wie?" He moved his hands throughtfully. "Hair." He looked up at Michael wistfully.

"Um... Lion played with hair?" Michael tried. Lions attacking would have had a more fearful reaction; that wasn't the kind of story people immortalized in photo albums.
