How could I ever be unhappy...? William's tongue collided with Gabe's; his hands lowered to grasp the man's.

Gabe's fingers locked with William's; he slowly slid his tongue along the younger singer's. This... is more than enough. He brought his body closer, their chests almost touching.

William lifted his hands with Gabe's. When their mouths parted, he smiled softly. "Now I dare you to said we're not happy."

"I never had a doubt about now..." And he stretched his neck and kissed him again. But who's to say my kisses will be worth it several years from now? His grip slightly tightened.

William withdrew his mouth again. "I remember a bit of the dream now," he admitted. "We were used to eachother - like an old couple - but we liked it, I think. We still loved eachother."

William shook his head. "I'm not making it up. Love wasn't an issue between us, we just...we'd grown apart after years of being together." William looked down, and back into Gabe's eyes. "Whatever, it's not like it matters."

Gabe cupped William's chin in a hand. "Do you think that's gonna happen?" he asked. His face was an inch away from William's and his dark eyes shone worriedly. The idea of that kills me.

William smiled. "No, never. Not between us." I don't know. It did seem real...but I'm not going to let it happen.

Gabe shook his head violently. "Okay, let's just stop thinking of the future for now, okay?" He looked at William. "Really. It's gonna drive us off the deep end." It will for me, that's for sure. "I'm sorry I brought it up. Let's just forget it for now, okay?" I feel so tired right now.

William nodded, grateful. "Yeah." He kissed Gabe. "Let's think about problems that actually exist...like, I don't know, being stuck here."

Gabe gave a laugh. "And still. What good will it do?" He kicked a stone with a foot, sending it near a tree.

Gabe snickered. "Maybe we could invite Wilson along," he said. "Come on. I mean, not to sound pessimistic or anything, but what are the odds of us surviving miles of salt water on a raft? And what would we bring for food? And we couldn't drink the water around us." He shrugged. "Seems like a long shot."

William shrugged. "Seriously. What were the odds to survive a plane crash?" Okay, so my idea sucks. "If you have anything better to offer..."

Gabe tangled his fingers with William's. "My idea was to let it go for a while." He licked his lips; it tasted salty. "On another note, the air here is saturated in sodium. Seriously."

William stuck his tongue out as well, the tip touching Gabe's. He giggled some more. "You taste salty but really sweet at the same time."

Gabe was reminded momentarily of Pete. He quickly chased the older man out of his head. "That's the sweat, 'hun," he said teasingly. "You think you're tasting me, but it's really your own sweat. Or mine. Whatever."

William giggled breasthlessly, failing to protect himself with his arms. He moved away from Gabe's reach and hugged his knees, grinning.

"But it looks hella good," Gabe said as he crawled near William. He kissed him lightly on the lips. "I'm starting to get hungry," he said. "Time to get those nuts out." He withdrew a pack of almonds from his jean pocket.

William bursted out laughing. "Okay, that was a very frightening sexual innuendo I just heard." He looked at the pack of nuts. "I can't think straight. I'm not even straight so that could explain it."
