Michael stepped forward to see if he had heard right. He really hoped that it was the Butcher he was going to find when he walked over to the voice asking who was out there and not somebody else who was potentially dangerous.

"Or the right one, as it may be!" Tom snapped back. "Chislett, what the hell are you doing?" He tightened his grip on the gun, before turning to William again, face softening. "I'm sorry. I just don't want to lose you."

Tom whimpered and clung to William, scared now there was weaponry involved.

William slid a hand over Tom's. "Me neither. It's exactly why you should put the gun down. Please."

Gabe saw the group of men from where he was. He saw Tom aiming at Sisky and the Butcher from where he was.
"PUT THE FUCKING GUN AWAY!" he yelled while squeezing Marlee against him. "Put it away or you won't ever see Marlee again! Ever!" He's aiming at the Butcher! His whole body shaked; no matter what people thought, he loathed guns. Especially foolishly used.

Scrambling back as he heard the mention of a gun the Butcher pushed Sisky back to the safey of Gabe, he knew that no one would hurt him whilst he had Marlee. "He's right. Put the gun down. We're all friends here ... just come into the clearing."

"Butcher," Sisky whined quietly but he understood why he was being pushed back to Gabe. He obiediently hid behind the taller man, unable to see what was going on. Maybe it was better not knowing.

Michael froze when he heard Gabe shouting. "Tom?"

Tom's eyes widened and he shoved the gun back into his pocket, shaking. "He can't take her away from me..." He whimpered. "He can't! She's mine, I love her. He can't do that nononononocan'tdothat..." Tom's words disintegrated into incoherant mumblings. "I didn't want anyone to be hurt anymore." He suddenly whispered, looking at them with horrified grey eyes set in a white, alabaster face.

Tom gasped at how quickly the man changed to the state he was in and he clung tighter to William.

Not carring if anyone saw them, William cupped Tom's cheek and kissed him softly. "No one will take Marlee away from you. Calm down." He let go and stepped in the clearing, forgetting that his wound was visible for everyone. He instantly looked at Gabe and smiled. "Told you I'd make it."

Gabe felt a rush of weakness go through his body. If my doubts weren't founded by then, they sure are now. Had he been the only one who had seen William kiss Tom? Had he simply imagined it?
"I'm not letting go of her..." he said to Tom in between heavy breaths "...until you get rid of them. All of them."

Looking at Gabe with a warning glare he watched Marlee for a second, just wanting to make sure she was okay without the additional stress of the moment. He had seen William and Tom kiss but didn't want to mention it right now, he just had to keep playing the peace maker. "Look can we all just calm the *fuck* down." he said in muted tones so that the word didn't get into the babies mind.

Sisky's breathing quckened. Since he couldn't see anything he expected the worse was happening. Needing to be comforted, he leaned on Gabe from behind. Please nobody shoot anybody else.

Michael watched and listened in bewilderment as both Toms seemed to dissolve into a frightened mess. It didn't look good. Not at all. Maybe he should pull them both away somewhere to calm down for awhile. Maybe he should grab Tom's gun and keep it in his own pocket since it seemed to be the only one on him.

William looked behind to see Tom's reaction. The moment he caught his eyes, the man ran away. William stared in confusion as the younger boy followed him. Oh, great. Just great. "Guys, calm down. We're the ones who got attacked." He placed a hand below his wound.

Gabe eyed the two men running in the opposite direction. He looked down at Marlee, who seemed oddly joyful despite the yelling. It looked as if she was smiling at him. He breathed, relieved. I'd never forgive myself if something happened to you. He lifted his eyes to the group of men while shifting to the side to let Sisky be seen.
Having been a bit shaken up by the previous sight, Gabe tried not to look to much at William; he didn't see the wound. He kept his eyes on Micheal and the woods.
"No need to take out the goddamn gun" he said.

Sisky almost fell over when Gabe moved since he wasn't expecting it. He squeaked when he looked up at Michael and William.

Michael looked at William's wound, fully noticing it for the first time. He had no idea where it had come from and now seemed like a bad time to ask.

"Gabe, please," William walked over to the man, "no need to yell. Tom was just trying to protect us. If you had been there, you'd be scared too." He kissed Gabe's cheek.

Whatever he does, you just always stick up for him? I don't care how much you love him, threatening someone with a gun like that is going too far.

Sisky's heart started fluttering anew at the sight of William so close. His palms sweated with nervousness and he attached himself to the Butcher again. ImadeapromiseImadeapromiseImadeapromise. But I still remember what you feel like.

William frowned. "I nearly got myself killed and that's all you've got to say? I got shot, for your information. I nearly got raped. Tom probably saved my life. Say what you want about him, but he's just trying to do the best he can." He looked away angrily. Yes, I did cheat on you. But before that, I risked my life. I thought you cared.
