Michael blushed. Honestly he should have had some idea that this was coming. Weren't there signs for this kind of thing?

Tom's eyes widened in horror and he closed them brifly, mentally calming himself down. But, by the way his stomach was soaring, it wasn't going to work. He looked around the clearing one last time and ran for it.

"Hillarious as usual Tom." Jon intones offering a weak half smile before coming further into the clearing taking a seat against a tree,trying too catch his breath.

"I'm sorry," Michael turned to look at William more closely. "You... love him don't you?" He could tell by the look on his face.

It made Michael feel even worse for coming between two people he cared about.

He sighed. "But you know...if Tom is happier with you, there's not much I can do about it - right?"

"I guess but if you love him you should be with him," Michael stared at his feet. Wouldn't they both be happy that way? It didn't really matter to Michael how he felt himself, even confused as he was, as long as everyone else was happy.

"Does that mean you don't love him back?" His voice sounded more hopeful then he had intended. "If that's the case, you need to tell him. Otherwise he'll get the wrong idea."
