Tom stomped through the trees, carefully keeping his hands from Marlee. Fortunately, the little girl was more preoccupied with Mikko.

Michael almost lost the airplane seats to some tree branches, fighting his way through he sighed in relief when he noticed they were getting closer.

Shifting his daughter up in his arms, Tom dipped his hands in the water, cleaning them as thoroughly as he could.

Michael put the airplane seat down where it could stay dry and knelt on the river bed to stick his face in the water.

Tongue poking out the corner of his mouth, Tom splashed the back of Michael's head before darting out of the water.

Michael straightened and shot a look at Tom before washing off his own hands.

Tom gave him an innocent grin, flopping onto the seats.

Michael off his face and hands on his own clothes and moved to sit beside Tom. He leaned in and bit the blonde's ear for revenge.

Tom shivered as a raindrop ran down his back. He looked up. "It's raining."

"Raining?" Michael looked up in horror. "Don't places like this flood?"

Tom shrugged. "Not entirely sure where we are. We're going to have to wait it out." Hopefully it's just a tropical storm...

Michael held Tom and Marlee close, not liking being out in the open one bit.

Tom shoved Michael off the seats and tucked Marlee into his shirt. He upturned the seats.

Tom dragged the bag to cover one entrance and huddled underneath the seats, beckoning to Michael, who already seemed a little wet.

Michael kissed Tom's cheek and smiled, letting his eyes slide closed.

Tom leant his head on his arm, his pale golden curls falling over the dark shirt and onto the ground. He watched his family with a fond smile on his face.

Michael opened one eye to look at Tom and say his lover was smiling so he smiled back.

"You can sleep if you want." Tom said in a quiet voice. "It's alright, we'll be here a while."
