"Guess I'm not a virgin anymore." Mikey laughed quietly, pulling Frank forward to kiss him again.

Frank was too busy catching his breath and admiring the foggy colorful dots flying before his eyes to realize what was happening around him. He let himself flop on Mikey's chest, hearing his heart thump through his entire system.

Mikey stroked his hair fondly, kissing the top of his head.

With the tip of his finger, Frank lazily drew circles on Mikey's rib cage with a tired smile on his face. "M'I love... you..." he mused quietly.

Mikey froze for a minute, before kissing the shell of Frank's ear. "Love you too." He whispered.

Frank curled up in a ball, his head nestled in crook of Mikey's neck, his mind catching up with him eventually. "Hope t'wasn't that bad," he said.

"I'll get better," Frank mumbled, but soon choked on his words as the double meaning knocked some sense in his head. "I mean... you know, I'll... I'll... ahh, fuck it."

"So we'll do it again?" Mikey chuckled, toying with Frank's dark hair. "I like your hair."

Mikey hit his head gently. "Think positive!" He yawned. "We better get dressed and go about finding more survivors."

To tell the truth, Frank would have spent an eternity just lying down this way, but he knew Mikey was right.

He rose, pulled on his boxers and pants, reaching out after to grab his shirt.

After having thrown his clothes back on, he carelessly dusted them off with quick shaked of his hand. He sat still for a moment, listening to the wind driving a slalom between the trees, the insects singing, the waves crashing and... voices?

Frank lend an attentive hear.

Yes, there were definetely voices -at least echoes of voices- filtered deeper into the forest.

"Mikey... do you hear this?"

His eyes widened. "Listen, I'm gonna go check it out... I'll meet back with you later."

He kissed the side of Mikey's cheek, stood up and left.

Mikey woke with a jolt. He hadn't even realised he'd slept. "Frank?" He called quietly. There was no answer. He reached for his clothes and pulled them on silently, staring at his bloodstained thighs. He jumped as he heard a noise. "Frank?" He repeated louder. There was no answer. "FRANK?" A note of panic sounded in his voice and he stepped towards the sound.

Suddenly, a thorny branch smacked into his face and he screamed in pain. There was liquid running down his face and he smeared some of it onto his palms. He opened his eyes to see if it was saline or blood. He opened them again. Blinked. Tentatively rubbed them. "No..." He whispered.

It made no difference.

Mikey didn't know how long he sat there, sobbing quietly. He... he was blind. How was he supposed to play guitar? How was he supposed to look after Tom?

Tom.

A fresh wave of tears overtook him. He'd never see Tom again. He'd never see the shy smiles he could give, never see the photographs he took. Never see that shining blonde hair.

Suddenly, something barked. Trotted into the clearing. Mikey concentrated hard on what he could hear. Something wet and snuffly poked at his bare hip and he yelped. A little puppy clambered onto his lap and fell asleep. "Hey little one." He whispered hoarsely. "Come to keep me company?"

"I wonder if you can understand me..." Mikey mused, stroking the puppy with a firm hand. "Umm... puppy?" It barked, jumping up and down on Mikey's stomach. "Uhh... go find people? Survivors? Frank? Tom? Michael?" The puppy barked again, almost in recognition, and trotted off.

The puppy barked and ran up to Mikey, licking his cheek. He stroked her gently. "Hey little one." He whispered. "Did you find anyone?"

Michael swatted the branches of a plant away so it wouldn't hit Pete in the face, carefully not to accidently drop the bassist in the process. "Jeannie?"

Tom grabbed Michael's arm, and probably a bit of Pete's hair. "Aussehen." He said quietly and pointed to the huddled figure in the corner.

Pete stared at what Tom was pointing to. There was a figure in the corner. Jeannie had run directly to it. I hope it's not dangerous. "Be careful," he whispered.

Mikey froze. "Hello?" He asked, raising his sightless eyes. "Is there anyone...?" He trailed off. The puppy nuzzled into him, whining.

Frank recognized the voice almost instantly and flew out of the bushes.

Michael sighed in relief. It was someone they knew so they couldn't be in any danger. He walked forward, Pete still in his arms.

Tom inhaled sharply as he saw the blood that stained Mikey's cheeks. He stayed where he was, shoulders drawn up. What had happened to him?

This must be who Frank had been looking for. Pete positioned himself in Michael's arms so that he could get a better look at the man. His eyes widened as he saw the blood on the other man. I hope he's not injured...
