They used to be best friends. It's really true that The Butcher was the one to tell him he was out of the band, and they haven't talked since. The Butcher did try to call Tom a couple of times.

I'll be honest with you: by the time I knew everybody who was in TAI, I was already hearing about Micheal.
I just didn't take any interest in knowing each band member until the HCT: in case I met one of them. I've never felt the need to know the band members. And when I do know them, it's for reasons like the previous. Or a matter of coincidence.

It's not that I don't appreciate them.
I'm just more of a music girl than a "band member-knower". I just don't feel the need to know their names.
But I'm glad I know them now. 'Cus they all seem like amazing people.

Same. I was still mixing up the names-faces-instruments at Warped Tour time.

At first I didn't like Michael (when we only had pictures of him) because I missed Tom. I don't know why, but I liked Tom a whole lot. And then I talked to the Aussie and he was the best thing ever. xD;

But yeah. Take Brand New, for instance - I know there's Jesse, I know what he looks like, and I know he sings. I know there's a Vinny, but I'm not too sure what he does. Heck - I'm not even sure how many people there is in the band.

It's when I really get into the band that I'll start looking for more songs they might have recorded that I don't have and generally wind up learning who's who. Viva Zeh Intarweb.
