The trees were sucked up into the sky and the people around him vanished. Gabe looked around and saw nothing. As if heavy fog had fallen upon him, it was impossible for Gabe to distinguish who was coming his way from afar.
"Who's there?" he asked.
A voice rung out. It was neither female or male. "Try and guess."
"Are you tall?"
"Are you?"
"Yes. I am."
"So am I."
Gabe tried to get closer, but the more he moved towards the figure, the further it seemed to go.
"Are you a friend?"
"Sure, Gabe. Sure."
Gabe looked around for inexistant clues.
"Are you a boy or a girl?!"
"Funny you should ask."
And as the fog suddenly vanished, Gabe barely had time to see that he felt himself choking.
