William avoided looking at Pete. It's in times like these that I wish Gabe was here instead. "Yeah, it's the opposite of a platonic relationship - all sex, no feelings. But the sex is good, so I'm not complaining." He got on his feet and finished putting on his pants.

He turned to Pete abruptly. "While I have you here, mind answering a question?"

Pete smirked and shook his head. These were the kind of relationships that worked best for him. Emotions attached never worked.

"Sure," Pete grunted as he stood up to retrieve his briefs.

"You remember that party you had a while ago? You know, when we couldn't find Sisky for a good part of the night... He told me someone tried to have sex with him. And he said you knew who that was. I need you to tell me." He stared at Pete with a serious expression, waiting for a name.

Pete gulped. He knew very well who it was. He couldn't just tell William though. He couldn't. Biting his lip, he gave a quick,"I don't think this is the time to discuss that." Then he quickly began putting on his briefs and his pants, not caring how much it hurt his back anymore. He wanted out of the jungle and away from William.

William knew very well that he was being unfair to Pete, but he had no choice. He needed the information. "Please, I'm just asking for a name." I'd sell my soul for that information. "Why won't you fucking tell me?" He was starting to lose his temper.

Pete couldn't tell William that he himself had try to sleep with Sisky. He just couldn't. But if he didn't, William would tell the other survivors a lie, and Pete knew damn well that everyone would believe the younger man. All he needed right now was to be made an outcast on a god forsaken island.

Pete eyes raced around. He was starting to feel a little light headed. This was abnormal for his character. He was supposed to make a joke and play this off with a grin or a smirk, right? He couldn't. He just couldn't.

"I can't say."

"Fine, Wentz. I give you ten seconds to tell me the name of the guy. Otherwise, I run off to Gabe and tell him you haven't been very nice with me." He frowned. "You know Gabe's got a good punch, right? Sure you do." He had a bad feeling Gabe wouldn't care, but Pete didn't know that. He folded his arms. "Tell."

Pete was getting nervous. Fuck, it was more than just nervous. There wasn't really a word for it. At least not one his mind was able to think of at the moment. Making sure to avoid eye contact at all cost, Pete was still deciding what to do.

Why can I never think of any jokes or distractions when I need them?

Giving up, Pete decided to ask his own question. "Why do you need to know, Beckett?"

Pete was obviously trying to protect the person, probably a close friend. If William said what he really had in mind, he'd never get an answer. "I want to know who tried to beat me to it," he lied. "And make sure I don't leave my drinks around him." Lame, William. Hopefully he'll buy this. His features softened. "I let you have your way with me and you won't even answer a stupid question..." He looked at an imaginary watch. "Oops, time's up. Got a name?"

Finally having his plan set in mind, Pete decided to tell William the truth, Pete put his shirt back on, and then stared towards the ground.

"It was me," he said as he began running off into the distance.

Fuck. I hope I can find Gabe before he does...

William was too stunned to move. He watched Pete run off before I could think clearly. His eyes watered up. "I betrayed Sisky," he said out loud. I was supposed to beat him up and hate him, not let him fuck me.

The only thing William could do now was run after Pete - it was especially hard to do since everything past his waist was sore, but he managed to do it anyway. Being tall gave him an advantage, and he would probably reach Pete in no time.

"I'll fucking kill him!" he yelled.

Pete kept running. He ran as fast as he could. He needed to get away from William. He knew Bill was angry. He knew. He just kept running. He hoped to find someone. Anyone. Just someone.

The disadvantage of William's height, now, was that every tree seemed to want to knock him out. He skillfully avoided branches and roots as he ran, getting closer and closer to Pete. He's a dead man.

"William? Pete?" He blinked at the place he was sure he left the two at.

"Um," Michael bent down to pick up the only thing left of his two friends, a pair of underwear he guessed were William's. Stuffing the fabric in his back pocket he made his way through the trees looking carefully for signs that would point him in the right direction. He did what he assumed trackers do and looked carefully at all the branches around him, rejoicing when he came across a bit of torn fabric he would have missed if he hadn't had his nose right up to the tree limb it was on.

"William?" He called, heading in that direction. "Pete?"
