William didn't like the way Tom had gripped his wrist. The man was starting to scare him. "And what is it that you have to do now...?"

Tom lifted his chin up and motioned to the graze underneath. "You remember?" He said quietly.

William shook his head. It was his turn to grasp Tom's wrist. He stared in his eyes, teeth clenched. "You wil get rid of the guns. And you will take your child." It's simple. Why don't you just do it?

Tom shook his head wordlessly and held out his arms for his child.

William slowly moved next to Gabe. "I-I'm sorry Tom. But I have to agree with Gabe. You can't take care of a kid as long as you have weapons around."

Of course. You always agree with Gabe. "So drugs are ok, but weapons aren't?" Tom raised his eyebrow. "She's still living, isn't she?"

"Gabe doesn't abuse drugs the way you abuse weapons," William replied angrily, but instantly wished he could have taken it back.

"When have I abused them?" Tom asked, turning to William. "I have five gun licences. I've carried since I was eighteen years old and only shot twice." He shrugged. "I'm not irresponsible with them, not at all."

"Twice?" William repeated, incredulous. "Twice. Are you counting all the targets you missed like, I don't know, Michael? And how many times did you do it to kill?"

Tom looked down. "To kill? Twice. And I didn't count them. I didn't shoot Michael. I just... threatened to. I didn't have my medication."

Tom spat. "Fuck you!" He screamed. "Fuck you!" He pulled out his gun and threw it at William. "Happy now?"

William forced a smile. "Yes. And we're getting rid of the others, too."

Before Gabe could protest, William took Marlee in his arms. He knew the man wouldn't struggle from fear of hurting the child. He walked closer to Tom. "Here."

Tom would have snatched the baby from him, but he controlled himself. "Hey girl." He whispered, taking the baby from William. Marlee whimpered and began to wail quietly.

William bit his lip. He was certain Tom wouldn't appreciate how the baby had reacted, and somehow he felt bad for him. He didn't comment.

Tom raised an eyebrow. "You too, huh?" He asked softly. "You loved me until my father came along. It's the same with most people." He kissed her soft forehead and wandered around, rocking her carefully.

William went back to Gabe, a sad look on his face. Like it should be. He slipped his fingers between the man's, not letting him move away.

"C'mon then." Tom said when she'd stopped crying. "Let's get you away from here." He walked away, talking gaily to the tiny child in his arms.

William squeezed Gabe's hand without really meaning to. It's the third time I have to watch him walk away, and I'm still not used to it. "Take care," he said to Tom, not quite sure if he had said it loud enough for him to hear.

Sisky watched the whole thing with a hand over his mouth. He hoped Gabe wouldn't push William away after all of that.

Gabe watched Tom walk away with Marlee and turned his eye to the guns on the floor. I hope those were really all he had. He looked at the luggage, remembering it's cargo. He shouldn't have anymore than those. And we have to get rid of them. He turned at William.
"I'm..." he started. I'm sorry I doubted you. I know you didn't do anything with Tom. "Do you want me to take care of that nasty wound? We could talk a bit..." His doubts were gone and Gabe felt light; the guns and Tom were in very seperate places, and that alone seemed to make the air lighter.

"Um, we'll leave you alone for awhile," Sisky linked his arm through the Butcher's and started to gently lead him away. I'm sure you want to ask me stuff.
